Amazing how God led me to this program. Then to boot He opens a door for us to run a 5k at a first annual benefit for Cornerstone Among Women which is a pregnancy center I had been volunteering at. God’s timing was perfect. It amazed me to watch them be transformed physically, emotionally and spiritually. What a blessing for me the leader. The race was so much fun having so many to cheer you on and supporting each other. I finished 3rd overall and got interviewed after the race unbeknown to me. The article recognized our Run For God national program which preps beginners for their first 5k race with a 12-week training program. Free advertising. With seventeen participants our of 66 total, we took home 9 of the age group awards. Many of them said, "if I can do it, anybody can." That means you too. We are really thankful for the Run For God program.

Last evening at church one of our Run For God members shared with me how the program has changed her life. I cant share the details but she has been going through a rough time for the last two years. Through the class she has gained a new purpose and is happy again for the first time in a long time. She is actually going to run in another race this coming weekend.
I believe that Run For God is truly God inspired and something the church really needs.
